Background
Welcomes to the 2nd International Conference on Meaningful Education (2nd ICMEd) 2020 which will be held on 3-4October 2020, in Faculty of Education, Yogyakarta State University, Indonesia. Under the theme of “Developing Meaningful Education Towards Transforming Society 5.0 for the Betterment of Human Lives”, this conference aims to bring together academicians, practitioners, and independent researchers from various educational fields to share and exchange the knowledge, practices, and research results on areas related to education, particularly meaningful education. The 2nd ICMEd also provides an interdisciplinary forum for participants to present and discuss current innovations, developments, challenges, as well as potential solutions to issues related to the practices of meaningful education at all education levels.
 
 
Aim and Scope
The 2nd ICMEd 2020 invites academicians, professionals, and independent researchers in various educational fields to present their research abstracts and papers relevant to the theme/sub themes of this conference. The sub themes for presentation include, but not limited to:

5. Curriculum and Instruction

7. Leadership and Management of Education

Call For Papers

Theme:
"Developing Meaningful Education Towards Transforming Society 5.0 for the Betterment of Human Lives"

Sub-Themes
Potential authors are invited to submit research results, survey results, literature review and communication results related to the ICMED 2020 subthemes:
1. Educational Policy
2. The Foundations of Education
3. Innovation in Education
4. Educational Technology
5. Curriculum and Instruction
6. Non-Formal Education
7. Leadership and Management of Education
8. Teachers Professional Development
9. Other related topics

Paper Submission
The submitted papers must be in file 6 pages long
Authors are strongly encouraged to use full name_subtheme number (ex: Nugroho_6) for their initial submissions. All papers must be submitted electronically in Ms.Word format only.
Only papers submitted through the electronic system and strictly adhering to the format will be considered for reviewing.

On Acceptance
Submitting a paper to the conference means that if the paper(s) were accepted, at least one author must attend the conference to present the paper(s).
In addition to being published in the conference proceedings, revised versions of selected accepted papers are planned to be published as a special issue in several international journals (under negotiation).
The author will be asked to register for the conference and pay the registration fee in advance. The fee is non-refundable.

Policy

By submitting the paper to 2nd ICMED 2020 conference, all authors agree to abide all 2nd ICMED 2020 conference paper submission, publication and presentation policies.
The authors shall confirm that the work is  original, has not appeared in literature in any form in the past and will not be submitted to any other venue concurrently with 2nd ICMED 2020 submission or until it appears in 2nd ICMED 2020 proceedings (in the case of acceptance).
No paper withdrawals can be accepted after conference pre-registration date or within three months of the actual event, whichever date comes first. Paper withdrawal request can be only accepted in writing through email to conference organizers (icmed@uny.ac.id).

•    The selection is done by the 2nd ICMed Reviewer’s team.
•    The authors need to follow the journal template and guideline.
•    The waiting period entirely depends on the policy of the journal.
•    The organizing committee will forward your paper manuscript to the journal and leaves the decision completely to the editor(s) of the respective journal, whether to directly accept, request a revision, or reject your paper submission.
•    Any publication fee is fully charged to the author(s).
